A while back, there was a survey conducted saying that screaming kids and their parent are among the worst plane etiquette violators. These children are even considered to be more annoying that those foul-smelled passenger.
For travelling mommies – including myself – this may not be a shocking surprise. I can’t speak on behalf of others, but for me, when I read about the survey I turned into my defensive mode. No, my kid is never annoying.
Dear mommies and daddies, have you ever get that dirty looks from the other passengers when the see you bring babies or toddlers to the plane and seated closed to them? I bet you have. Especially if you are about to fly longhaul.
Even if your kids behave nicely in their seats like princes and princesses from far away land, some of your neighbours will cast a glance occassionally. Hoping that the kid(s) will not throw a tantrum suddenly. You, the parents, are maybe like living on an edge. Trying to keep you children happy, content, full, and even better, asleep.
