Jejak Secarik Jarik Batik

You can’t go wrong with jarik batik -Backpackology

Jarik batik menjadi alas duduk.

Flying Business Class With Kids

Dear mommies and daddies, have you ever get that dirty looks from the other passengers when the see you bring babies or toddlers to the plane and seated closed to them? I bet you have. Especially if you are about to fly longhaul.

Even if your kids behave nicely in their seats like princes and princesses from far away land, some of your neighbours will cast a glance occassionally. Hoping that the kid(s) will not throw a tantrum suddenly. You, the parents, are maybe like living on an edge. Trying to keep you children happy, content, full, and even better, asleep.

A Glimpse of A Windmolen

What is it to visit the majestic Netherlands without a jump to a windmill. The iconic structure is a must-see for tourists, travellers, globetrotters, whatever you call yourselves. There are several windmills in and around Amsterdam, Molen van Sloten and Riekermolen are amongst the finest.

Windmolen, a glimpse of the past
Postcard from the past

Short time, snowfalls, penniless, we decided to visit the closest windmill – 15 minutes walk from our semi-basement Prinshedrikkadestraat apartement. Brouwerij ‘t IJ is located in the former Funen bathhouse. It has a pub serving beers and coffee.
